The place is in a perfect location for us. It is just a few steps to stores like OK grocery store,(where you can buy cheap bento) lawson, 7/11, don quijote, uniqlo, rox and restaurants It is just behind senso-ji temple, so everytime we would go out to go to the train station, we would always pass by the temple. We have a view of the skytree from the balcony too. So it is a walkable distance if you really want to go there including sumida park. It has a microwave, its own small fridge and of course it's own bathroom. They've given us a room on the 5th floor, so it's very quiet. We rarely see other guests on the elevator though we chanced upon a family of caucasians on the way in. We stayed there for 6 days. Toiletries and towels are provided, including blowers, though we brought our own set. The people at the reception are very helpful, gracious and polite everytime we would pass by them especially when it was raining, they lent us 2 umbrellas.

Sting was VERY affordable. We would have easily spent double or triple staying at any other hotel in the area. Speaking of, the location was amazing. Asakusa is rich in culture, activities, and food. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Senso-ji, the largest temple in Tokyo, a 10 minute walk to the nearest train station, and a 15 minute walk from the direct train line to the airport. The room was very reasonably priced and clean. The staff were very accommodating, and spoke enough English to answer any questions we had. The bed was a little stiff but surprisingly comfortable to sleep on.

Around a 15min walk from Asakusa train station. Everything in between provides all sorts of shopping opportunities as well as Sensoji Temple. 24hr staff are friendly & helpful. My room was average size & everything worked fine. The bed had clean linens & doona which gave a comfortable sleep. The bathroom was a wet room but big enough to leave a dry section for drying off. The shower had passable hot water & okay water pressure. Room cleaning was by request. Quiet at night. Enjoyed my stay here.

I stayed here for one night but I am amazed by the outstanding help by the staff. The staff and owner himself personally helped me to get a bag left in the taxi. The room and bathroom are extra in Japanese standard. The hotel provided toiletries and amenities. The hotel is close to Asakusa attractions and there are restaurants near the hotel. Subway station is about 8 minutes walk and you may get a taxi from the main road, which is a one minute walk.

This place was great! Affordable and they give you so much - a massive bathtub for two, huge comfy bed, all the amenities you could ask for and more, so many perks. The receptionist was lovely. Very glad we stayed here, one of the loveliest hotels we've stayed in. Conveniently located in Asakusa, you're never far from anything, Senso-ji just nearby and quick transport into the city centre.
